The Boothbay Region Middle School track and field team competed at the Busline League Track and Field Championships in Belfast on May 23. Out of 12 teams the girls placed 3rd and the boys placed 6th. An impressive 20 of the 30 members of the track team qualified for the championship meet. It was the first year of participating in track for 18 of the athletes and we had a team high of six homeschooled students.
