Dear Editor:

The placement of “blame/responsibility” for some of the border problems is almost never given to those who are: the adults/parents sending their children.

The cancellation of the 4 July chicken roast seems to be another step in losing some of Boothbay’s formerly traditional pleasures such as the bean-hole-bean festivities and the Boatbuilder’s festival among others. RIP!
