Boothbay wins MVC championship

The Boothbay Region High School boys tennis team defeated the Carrabec Cobras, 3-2, in the Mountain Valley Conference championship match played in Waterville on Friday, May 26.
Boothbay, which finished the regular season with a 9-1 record, played Carrabec for the third time this season, splitting both regular season matches.
The Seahawks will now host the winner of the Carrabec, ranked #4, and Mountain Valley, ranked #5, quarterfinal match in the Class C South tournament. Date and time to be announced.
