The Boothbay Region YMCA may have its physical location on Townsend Road, but its reach extends far beyond the property. The Y partners with numerous organizations throughout the year to fulfill the requests of food, clothing, school supplies, Christmas presents, and much more. The Y’s response, now more than ever, is to provide vital services for individuals and families and continue to be more than “just a gym.”

By bringing together people from different backgrounds, perspectives and generations, the Y’s goal is to improve overall health and well-being, ignite youth empowerment, and demonstrate the importance of connections in and across 10,000 communities nationwide.

Our Ys is providing critical services in communities.

We provide vital child development, health and well-being and social responsibility programs to help strengthen the many communities we serve.

We are able to operate with strict safety guidelines in place, including mask wearing, social distancing and staggered operating hours to control crowds. 

We support working families by providing licensed child care for children ages 6 weeks to 5th grade.

We support the food insecurities issues throughout the nation by providing weekend meals to our community.

We support the critical physical and mental well-being needs of our communities. 

Our Ys provides membership for everyone.

As always, no other organization can impact as many, as powerfully, as the Y does every day. At the Y we provide membership rates based on income by following our Membership for All process.

Through the generosity of our donors, we are able to provide programs and services of a YMCA membership to those who may not otherwise be able to participate. Rates are available based on income and all members receive the same benefits, regardless of assistance. Regardless of your financial situation, we will work together to find a monthly amount that fits your budget.
