The Boothbay Region Lions Club met for a regular meeting on Nov. 20.  Lions Mark, Barry, and Norm provided a delicious meal.

We voted to make donations to New Hope for Women, the Camp Sunshine Endowment Fund, Project Graduation, Action for Animals, the Food Pantry, and Food for Thought.

We have received lots of used eyeglasses and cell phones over the last couple of months, which will be recycled for future use.  Thanks to everyone in the Boothbay region who continues to help the Lions Club serve our community.

We are currently selling raffle tickets for a Gnome Tree, which is decorated with $300 worth of lottery tickets.  Please see any Lion member for tickets, $5 per ticket.  The drawing will be on Dec. 23. 

Our Lions Zone Project for this season is donations to local food pantries.  Our members checked off items on an Advent Calendar listing many items needed for this food drive.  We will bring in our food donations at our next meeting.
