Have you seen the beautiful green wreaths with red ribbons on our public buildings? It is our annual holiday tradition, at our November meeting, for members of the Boothbay Region Garden Club to purchase, decorate and distribute wreaths for public buildings.  

We purchase 12-inch wreaths and add three sets of pine cones to each wreath. One red ribbon, handmade, adorns each wreath as well. Also included in our wreath distribution were two 16-inch wreaths, one for our Civil War Memorial and one for our Blue Star Memorial. A total of 43 wreaths were purchased, decorated and distributed by our members. In addition to the wreaths, we also create tray table decorations to be included in Meals on Wheels trays for those in eldercare facilities.
