Town of Boothbay nomination papers are available for five municipal offices. Candidates must collect 25 to 100 signatures on their nomination papers to qualify for the May Town Meeting warrant. The five offices with expiring three-year terms are selectman, Community School District trustee, Community School District superintending committee, Boothbay-Boothbay Harbor Cemetery Committee and Boothbay Region Water District.

The current office holders are Chuck Cunningham, selectman; V. Kevin Anthony, CSD trustee; Bruce MacDonald, CSD superintending committee; Stanley W. Lewis, cemetery district; and Jonathan Lewis, Boothbay Region Water District. Nomination papers must be returned by 4:30 p.m. Thursday, March 7. The municipal election will be held from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. May 6 in the municipal office building.
