Boothbay loses at Lisbon, 1-0

On a wet field in Lisbon Oct. 14, the Boothbay Region Seahawks lost their second straight game, 1-0, to the Greyhounds.
The loss dropped Boothbay’s record to 4-7 and the Seahawks dropped in the Class C South standings from sixth to eighth. Lisbon improved to 6-4-1 and are seeded seventh.
The lone goal was scored in the second quarter by freshman Julia Quagliaroli.
Today, Wednesday, Oct. 16 at 3:30 p.m., the Seahawks will host Winthrop/Maranacook, the top seed in Class C South at 11-0. Boothbay lost at Winthrop, 8-0, on Sept. 16.
Friday’s homecoming game at 3:30 p.m. will be against Hall-Dale, 8-3 and seeded second in Class C South. Boothbay lost at Hall-Dale, 6-0, on Sept. 18.
