Boothbay Harbor Board of Selectmen

Boothbay Harbor town manager resigns

Boothbay Harbor Town Manager Tom Woodin submitted his resignation over the weekend, said select board Chair Michael Tomko. “The board will meet as scheduled on July 8 and vote to accept his resignation,” Tomko said. “We will talk about what comes next with the search and everything.”

Following several rumors, Tomko said no town employees have been fired, the board did not meet in executive session over the weekend, and the last time the board met at all was during its last scheduled meeting on June 24, which included an executive session unrelated to Woodin's departure.

Said Tomko, “We appreciate Tom’s service over the years and wish him the best.”

Woodin has been town manager since 2006.
