This Thursday Aug. 13 is our second Drive In meeting at the Railway Village. Not a big program this time, no singing and dancing, but a great opportunity to safely visit with other club members. Michael Pollard and friends have the barn looking very classy now that the Barn Boutique is open. Bring yourself, family, friends and neighbors. We are having open hours at the barn on Saturday morning from 8:30 to 11. Appointments can still be made with Irene, just text 207-315-5429. Masks are required.

We are doing pick ups again of collectibles, furniture and tools, just text Irene.

During last week’s virtual meeting Marty Helman informed us that Jennifer Jones of the Rotary Club of Windsor-Roseland, Ontario, Canada has been nominated as the first woman president of Rotary International for 2022-2023. Several big contributions to the Thankful Basket were given for this milestone. Our own Tory Paxson will be club president at that time. What a great leadership team we will have. Of course, we couldn’t accomplish all we do without the whole club working together. And having fun too. A huge thank you to all the Rotary Club members, truly “People of Action.”
