Boothbay Harbor library collecting items for Ebola patients
Wed, 11/12/2014 - 12:00pm
The Boothbay Harbor Memorial Library had the opportunity this past Saturday, Nov. 8 to share with our community Dr. Daniel Bates, MD.'s informative lecture on Ebola and Rev. Krua's message on Ebola Awareness and Assistance — one of compassion and hope, not fear, of Ebola.
A collection box has been set up at the library to receive public donations of new, boxed, disposable medical gloves, clean blankets, new, packaged toiletries and canned food, to aide those affected by this terrible disease. We invite and encourage the public to bring the listed donations by the library during open library hours as an expression of brotherly compassion.
This is our chance to make a difference. For more information, go to www.fightebola.us.
