Boothbay football rebounded from a lopsided defeat a week ago to beat Mt. View, 50-20, Sept. 23 in 8-man small conference action. Five Seahawks scored a combined seven touchdowns. Aidric Canada and Maddox Cusumano scored two touchdowns. Brett Smith, Slade Balsdon and Shawn Gamage each scored one.
Boothbay is now 2-2. Mt. View of Thorndike falls to 0-3. Boothbay is in fourth place in the small conference standings. The Seahawks host No. 6 Telstar (1-3) at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 29. The Rebels beat Mt. View earlier this season for their only win.
