The Boothbay Fire Department on Route 27 will hold its annual open house, in recognition of National Fire Prevention Week, from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 6.
Tour the station and meet your local firefighters, EMTs and police officers. There will be games and Sparky, the fire dog to entertain children. Food and refreshments will be prepared by the Boothbay Hook and Ladder Association and Masons from Bayview Lodge. Everything is free.
