A reminder that the Maine Public Broadcasting Network is scheduled to televise two showings of the “Getting Away Together” episode filmed in the Boothbay region. The episode will air on Thursday, Sept. 11 at 10 p.m. and again on Saturday, Sept. 13 at 11 a.m.

“Getting Away Together” began its second season on July 3 on many PBS stations throughout the country. The series highlights a growing trend of sharing a vacation with friends and family.

The episode shot in the Boothbay region shares the story of a group of “Cajun” women who spent a week in the coastal Maine community.
