Junior forward Hunter Crocker led the Boothbay Region Seahawks (9-0) past the Madison Bulldogs, 69-53, at Madison on Friday night. Crocker scored 21 points, hauled down 10 rebounds and had four assists in the Class C South basketball clash.

Senior guard Steve Reny also had a good night as he poured in 18 points.

Madison dropped to 5-5 with the loss.

As of Saturday morning, the Seahawks were seeded third in the region behind top-ranked Waynflete and second-seeded Hall-Dale.

Boothbay is next scheduled to host Mountain Valley on Tuesday, Jan. 15. The Falcons, as of Saturday morning, were undefeated at 8-0.
