Books in Boothbay July 27
Thirty-nine authors from all over Maine and New England will converge at the Boothbay Railway Village on Saturday, July 27, for the 15th annual Books in Boothbay Book Fair.
From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. you can meet your favorite writers, including Lea Wait, Charlene D’Avanzo, Jen Blood, Sandy Neily, and many more.
Among the authors new to the book fair this year are Tom Wells, whose novel “Dear Mr. Wells,” is based on his 41-year teaching career; Morgan Syliva, a horror/poetry writer; Jim Hornor, whose book “Victoria Falls” is set in Zimbabwe, Kenya, and India (he’s also doing an author talk at the Boothbay Harbor Memorial Library on Thursday, Aug. 1 at 2 p.m.); and Robert C. Williams, who was nominated for a Pulitzer Prize in 1980.
The book fair will be held rain or shine in the old town hall building at the Railway Village. There’s no admission fee to attend the fair.
