Dear Editor:

Thank you to the Boothbay Harbor Memorial Library and the Harbor Theater for collaborating and including Boothbay Region High School students and staff with reading “The Boys in the Boat” by Daniel James Brown and viewing the movie directed by George Clooney. The Library staff helped to make sure all participating staff and students had a copy of the book before watching the film, and the Harbor Theater staff and volunteers welcomed us with complimentary popcorn and a special showing of the film during the school day. Students and staff enjoyed both the book and the movie; thank you very much!
