Bertelsen for selectman

Dear Editor:
I am writing to express my enthusiastic support of Erik Bertelsen as he seeks a position on the Board of Selectmen of the town of Boothbay.
I assure you that when we elect Erik, we will be strengthening the town's leadership group and we, as Boothbay residents, will benefit from his willingness to work hard, his wisdom and his fairness. He is approachable, good natured and willing to consider varying opinions. And, he will do what is right for our great town and its people, I'm sure.
I am confident in Erik and know him well as he and I worked closely together as high school administrators and we have been good friends for nearly 20 years. He is an excellent candidate and worthy of our votes!
