Ocean Point Inn is delighted to once again offer summer beach glass workshops for both kids and adults, led by Ocean Point artist Kim Kruger. Workshops are open to both Ocean Point Inn guests as well as local residents. Sign up sheets are available at the front desk at Ocean Point Inn or by calling 207-633-4200.
Kim Kruger has been a summer resident of Ocean Point for over 25 years. As a young girl, Kim spent her summers beachcombing and collecting sea glass on local beaches. Ten years ago, she combined her love of art and glass into an art form. Kim now teaches workshops for both children and adults and helps her students visualize art through nature. She has a vast collection of glass and a love of the Maine Coast and utilizes windows and frames to create her beach glass pictures.
Winesday Wednesday Workshop (adults only) - July 6 and Aug. 3 | 3-5 p.m. | $120: Create beautiful landscapes with one-of-a-kind sea glass while enjoying complimentary wine and hors d'oeuvres! Sign-up sheets are available at the Ocean Point Inn Front Desk or by calling 207-633-4200.
Kreative Kids Workshop (ages 5 and up) - Tuesday, July 19 and Aug. 16 | 10–11:30 a.m. | $60: Students will create beautiful landscapes with one-of-a-kind sea glass on a picture frame to capture your Ocean Point memories. Space is limited.
