Art work by Barbara Chase will be on display at the First National Bank, 77 Oak St., Boothbay Harbor through Oct. 15.

 

Retired now, she earned a fine arts degree with a focus on printmaking many years ago. Painting is currently Barbara’s passion and she works exclusively with acrylics. She enjoys painting outdoors and especially appreciates the challenge of interpreting water and reflections. 

 

Barbara enjoys painting in an impressionistic style, with a touch of realism in the mix, and she continues to enjoy learning new techniques to employ a full range of acrylic products to add further transparency and depth to her work.
