Arrest made in cottage burglaries

Boothbay Harbor Police Chief Bob Hasch reported officers have arrested a local man in connection with three cottage burglaries.
On April 8, Officer Douglas Snyder arrested Adam Pinkham, 35, of Boothbay on three counts of burglary and theft. The investigation began May 4 when officers received a report that copper had been stolen from three summer residences in the Lobster Cove area. Damages exceed $5,000.
The arrest was made after interviews and tips from the public. Boothbay Harbor officers worked jointly with Marine Patrol Officer James Mayotte on the investigation.
