The annual Memorial Day article is located elsewhere in this paper. I did want to take just a little additional space to thank everyone who are so enthusiastically joining our breakfasts! With over 125 joining us last Sunday, with great weather allowing enjoyable outside dining on our picnic tables, and with our no-cost raffles that happen through out the breakfast, it is just a great time.

I also want to make sure everyone knows that you and your families are invited to the after-parade barbecue at the Legion Hall following the parade. "Everyone" since I know you will all be participating in the parade. The BBQ is being hosted by our Auxiliary and we are really hoping for a great turn out. RADM Howard will be on hand to meet with those how come to the lunch. What I didn't mention in the other Memorial Day article is that RADM Howard is a member of our Post 36!

The next Legion meeting is June 14. Hot dogs/hamburgers at 5:30 p.m.; the meeting starts at 6.
