Linda Redman of the Boothbay Region Garden Club will present the program about “Bees” at the monthly meeting of the club at St. Columba’s Church on August 8. One is never to young or too old to learn how beneficial bees are to our world. Redman will have an active hive at the meeting and looks forward to a lively question and answer session. Spouses and friends are encouraged to attend the meeting at 1 p.m.

Preceding the meeting, from noon to 12:45 will be a “Round Table” event: Christmas in August featuring the sale of items from past Festivals of Trees.
