Dear Editor:

I am writing in regard to the polluting, noisy, and traumatizing fireworks. They scare children and older adults; traumatize veterans, animals and younger children; cause pollution (which people complain yet contribute to); and they are an extremely expensive waste. They are the same several times a year. I thought with the zoning of public fireworks in this town, there would be less, but now they have more of the worst ones.

With all the bombing going on in the world, one would think there should be less of a reminder. There should be some other form of entertainment to provide for people.
