4th disposition hearing set for alleged Boothbay Harbor shooter

There will be a fourth disposition hearing for a Boothbay Harbor man regarding a March 19, 2023 shooting incident at Campbell Creek Housing Complex. On Sept. 25, Superior Court Justice Daniel Billings scheduled another disposition hearing for Wednesday, Oct. 4 via Zoom conference. Matthew A. Plummer, 41, faces three felony charges stemming from his alleged involvement in the shooting incident. Plummer was arrested by the Maine State Tactical Team and Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office after a standoff. 

Plummer was charged with a Class A offense of aggravated attempted murder and two Class C offenses, illegal possession of firearms and violating conditions of release. The shooting victim was identified as Thomas Hourihan, 34, of Wiscasset. Hourihan was treated for 10 gunshot wounds prior to law enforcement arriving. He was later transported to a hospital.   

The second disposition hearing was held July 19 via Zoom. The third was held Sept. 25, also via Zoom. On March 20, Plummer was arraigned at Lincoln County Courthouse. His bail was set at $100,000 with no third-party bail allowed.
