The Boothbay Region High School National Honor Society Induction Ceremony was held on Tuesday, Sept. 17 at 6 p.m. in the BRHS Gym. The 11 new inductees were Madeleine Andreason, Magen Burge, Rose Campbell, Sarah Harris, Hanna Kreft, Bailey Lewis, Eleanor Marshall, Chase Mansfield, Piper McKane and Abigail Orchard.

Nine current members assisted in the ceremony by reading the four NHS merits: Scholarship, Service, Character and Leadership. The current members are Hannah Hills, Neal Baldwin, Abbie Clark, Lydia Currier, Lilliana Nein, Anna Gosselin, Spencer Pottle, Harriet McKane, Madeline Orchard and Cleyton Splaine.

Master Ceremony Hannah Hills read the BRHS Pledge for the new members to cite. Each new member signed the BRHS NHS book, lit their NHS candle, and were awarded NHS pins and certificates.
