The Boothbay Region Elementary School cross-country teams competed at Medomak Valley on Thursday, October 11. The Boothbay girls (51 points) and boys (34 points) teams both finished second behind Camden-Rockport Middle School (girls, 19 points, and boys, 31 points) in the five-school meet. Fifty-six boys and 50 girls competed. Top finishers for the BRES Wildcats were sixth-grader Faith Blethen for the girls (third place overall) and eighth grader Joey Paolillo for the boys (first place overall).
