Southport Memorial Library invites armchair travelers to enjoy a tour of Newfoundland with Jim Singer as he presents a narrated program of slides taken on a recent trip to that province.

Southport residents Jim and Becky Singer spent four weeks in Newfoundland, traveling the entire length of the Trans-Canada Highway from Channel-Port aux Basques to St. John's, visiting national parks and historic sites, enjoying local hospitality, all the while surrounded by spectacular vistas.

Jim will share these experiences at the library on Thursday, Oct. 6 at 1 p.m. The library is located at 1032 Hendricks Hill Road, at the southern end of Southport Island. For more information call 633-2741.
