Dear Editor:

Once again, we would like to thank all 20 of the veteran and newcomer swimmers aged 8 to 80 at this year's Leprechaun Leap held at Hendricks Head Beach on St. Patrick's Day. We appreciate their fortitude and continuing support of the cause. Thanks also to those who pledge funds to these intrepid folks, whose efforts raise money for local Special Olympians. The money goes to pay for equipment,  passes, travel, etc. to regional, statewide, and sometimes national Special Olympic events.

You touch and enrich many lives here in the Boothbay region.
