The undermanned Seahawks football team, due to injuries, closed out the regular season with a 41-14 loss at Old Orchard Beach on Friday, Oct. 24.

The host Seagulls got a pair of touchdown runs by Bryan Roberts in the first quarter and three more touchdowns in the second for a 34-0 lead at the half.

The Seahawks got on the board in the third quarter with a two-yard touchdown run by Nick Gorey, and in the fourth quarter, Gorey was the recipient of a 35-yard touchdown pass from Duncan Drapeau.

Finishing with a 2-5 record, the Seahawks will enter the Western Class D playoffs as the seventh seed and will travel to Dirigo on Saturday, Nov. 1 for a quarterfinal matchup. Dirigo finished as the two seed with a 6-1 record. The two teams did not meet in the regular season.
