The Lincoln County affiliate of the national organization, Rebuilding Together, seeks volunteers to help rehabilitate designated homes in the area on Saturday, April 29 for National Rebuilding Together Day. Rebuilding Together is a nonprofit organization began in 1973 in Midland, Texas. Rebuilding Together-Lincoln County (RT-LC) was formed in 2002 and since then, has performed home repair projects for over 140 individual homeowners.

National Rebuilding Together Day is an annual event. On that day, skilled, semi-skilled, and willing-to-learn volunteers with enthusiasm who are ready to work gather to receive project assignments.

This year, RT-LC needs more help. For those interested, the RT-LC volunteer form can be found on the Rebuilding Together website at www.rebuildingtogether-lc.org. Volunteers will meet in the parking lot of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic church at 85 Atlantic Street in Boothbay Harbor at 7:30 a.m. on April 29.
