“Jurassic World” concludes its record-breaking Boothbay Harbor engagement with a special late show at 10 p.m., in addition to the regular 7 p.m. screening on Thursday, June 25.

Twenty-two years after the events at Jurassic Park (1993), Isla Nublar now features a fully functioning dinosaur theme park, Jurassic World. After 10 years of operation and visitor rates declining, in order to fulfill a corporate mandate, a new attraction is created to respark visitor’s interest, which backfires horribly.

“Jurassic World” stars Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard and Vincent D’Onofrio. Plays at 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 24; and 7 and 10 p.m. on Thursday, June 25.

“Inside Out,” Walt Disney/Pixar studios' new animated release, tells the story of Riley (Kaitlyn Dias), a happy, hockey-loving 11-year-old Midwestern girl. Riley's world turns upside-down when she and her parents move to San Francisco. Riley's emotions, led by Joy (Amy Poehler), try to guide her through this difficult, life-changing event.

However, the stress of the move brings Sadness (Phyllis Smith) to the forefront. When Joy and Sadness are inadvertently swept into the far reaches of Riley's mind, the only emotions left in “Headquarters” are Anger, Fear and Disgust.

“Inside Out” is a family-friendly film playing at 7 p.m. on Friday, June 26 through Tuesday, June 30; at 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 28 and again on Thursday, July 2 at 7 and 10 p.m.

“Show Boat”: The San Francisco Opera's June 2014 production. This is a tale of life on the Mississippi from the 1880s to the 1920s. It is both a poignant love story and a powerful reminder of the bitter legacy of racism. The magnificent Jerome Kern-Oscar Hammerstein II score, includes such classic songs as “Ol’ Man River,” “Can’t Help Lovin’ Dat Man,” “Make Believe” and “You Are Love.”

“Show Boat” will be presented in two acts with a 10-minute intermission, at 2 and 7 p.m. on Wednesday, July 1. Tickets are priced $20/adults, $18/seniors and children, $16/theatre members. Passes are not accepted for this event. Tickets available at the box office on the day of the show.

The Harbor Theatre is located at 185 Townsend Avenue in Boothbay Harbor. For more information, call 207-633-0438 or visit www.harbortheatre.net

“Seymour: An Introduction”: Ethan Hawke's highly acclaimed documentary. Seymour Bernstein started playing the piano as a little boy, and by the time he turned 15 he was teaching it to others.
