Dear Editor:

This time of year, late in the day, when entering the Boothbay Center Post Office from Back River Road, the parking area to the right is in the dark. Four million dollars was spent, because, we were told, the four-way stop was incredibly dangerous. That being the reason we were given, shouldn’t public safety be the primary objective of the replacement design? Public safety begins with visibility. Can we have streetlights in the Post Office parking lot?
