A 15-0 run at the end of the third quarter into the fourth quarter provided the spark to the Monmouth Mustangs, who went on to defeat the Boothbay Region Seahawks, 48-39, at Porter Memorial Gymnasium, BRHS Wednesday, Jan. 31.

Boothbay had built a six-point lead in the third quarter, 28-22, but three 3-pointers, two by Haley DeHahn (including one at the buzzer) gave the visitors a 33-28 lead going into the final frame.

DeHahn and Frost led Monmouth with 16 points each.
