Boothbay Region Land Trust (BRLT) is not just a nonprofit land conservation organization. It is a community of like-minded citizens who care deeply for the environment and have a sense of place. Your membership to Boothbay Region Land Trust fosters and gives voice to this community. It drives and grows the mission work done by the organization. Most importantly, your membership is the lifeblood of the organization and ensures that BRLT will continue as a benefit to everyone who lives or visits the Boothbay Region, young or old, rich or poor for years to come.

The Boothbay Region Land Trust’s community all started in 1980 with a group of concerned citizens and Little River Dam. Luckily, BRLT founders had a much greater vision beyond protecting a small dam in East Boothbay. Thirty-five years later, we conserve over 1,700 acres, maintain 25 public access preserves with over 30 miles of trails, and offer 100 free environmental education programs annually.

We are so grateful for the insight and forethought of our founders, but also our donors. Because of your vision and ongoing support, we have grown into a stable organization that can operate in a proactive way to best serve the Boothbay region community.

There are many ways to renew or begin a membership with Boothbay Region Land Trust. You can go to our website bbrlt.org to choose a one-time or monthly gift option; send a check or credit information by mail to P.O. Box 183 Boothbay Harbor, ME 04538; or make a credit card gift over the phone at 207-633-4818. No matter how you choose to give, or the size of your gift, we appreciate your commitment to your community.
