Dear Editor:

The claw of the lobster light at the Southport School that always brought a smile as one made the turn at the Island Store has lost its repetitive motion. With this paralysis, the smile is a little weaker since the lighted red and green truck on Route 27 at the campground now takes the honors.

What happened? Old age? An investigation is warranted.
