The annual holiday season is upon us. Wiscasset’s Early Riser sale is in the books, Gardens Aglow is shining brightly, holiday sales (Early Bird Sale this Saturday in Boothbay Harbor), craft fairs, open houses and much more. Lots of events and projects to support. Look ahead for more by reading our calendar of events if you need to get “into the spirit.” Wow, where to go next?

I have a hard enough time getting my Christmas decorations up, let alone getting to the various celebrations. I will be getting some time off next week so maybe I will take in an event or two – after getting the decorations set up before the weatherman predicts snow, celebrating Thanksgiving with family and keeping my face away from in front of this laptop.

Whatever you choose to support and celebrate, we hope you remain safe and have a good time.
