Maine golf course giant Harris Golf is no longer working with Paul Coulombe to manage the Boothbay Country Club, said a Harris Golf representative March 21.

Coulombe, of Southport, announced in February that he had bought the club and that Harris Golf would be managing the course.

“We are no longer working with Paul Coulombe,” Harris Golf marketing director Matt Barnard wrote in an email to the Boothbay Register and Wiscasset Newspaper. In a subsequent telephone interview, Barnard declined further comment.

Harris Golf, a former owner of the Boothbay club, currently either owns or operates nine Maine golf courses.
