“Gravel, Gravel, Gorilla" will be the third video of plays by Art Mayers to be shown at Sheepscot General (at Uncas Farms) in Whitefield on Friday, July 10 at 7 p.m.

The play, produced in the 1990s, centers on comprehensive planning in Whitefield. The music was written by John McDowell, Mike Kimball and Bert Mayers.  McDowell assembled a 10 piece orchestra for the production. Many of the songs were recycled a decade later for “Reny's the Musical.”

The play featured Glenn Dwyer, Howie Nielsen, Kara Dalke, Ellis Percy, and a cast of dozens. The video was edited by Vanessa Barth.
