As the snow falls in the season’s next snow storm, enjoy a video of Monday evening, Jan. 26 at the inception of that winter storm, while folks were getting ready.

The compiled video uses almost 2,300 separate photos.

A GoPro camera was set up in the second floor of the Boothbay Register office building facing the intersection of Union Street and Townsend Avenue.

The film rate was 12 megapixels at a rate of 1 photo every 60 seconds and continued until around noon Wednesday after the storm.

It was then edited to a speed of approximately 4 frames per second.

We literally turned this almost two-day film into a little over 2 minute clip.

The background music is licensed from www.audionautix.com by Jason Shaw.

The storm dumped about 15 inches of snow in Boothbay Harbor while other Midcoast areas received over 20 inches of snow.
