Essential oils medicine cabinet makeover

Presentation at Boothbay Harbor Memorial Library Aug. 5
Tue, 07/28/2015 - 8:15am

The Boothbay Harbor Memorial Library will host an informational presentation by Serena Musick on the therapeutic power of essential oils on Wednesday, Aug. 5, 5:30-6:30 p.m.

Do you, or someone you know, have high blood pressure, allergies, asthma, IBS, chronic ear or sinus infections, headaches, migraines, sleep problems, stress, arthritis, low energy, anxiety, depression, there's an oil for that! People have been using essential oils for centuries. Essential oils can be used to boost immunity and remove toxins from your body. They can be used in the kitchen for cooking or even to sanitize and clean your home.

This class will inform you how to replace the items in your medicine cabinet with pure, natural essential oils that can help you feel better when you are sick, and help you to stay well. Essential oils are inexpensive, don't have negative side effects, and often work faster and more effectively than traditional modern medicine. There will be free oils, prizes and snacks during the presentation.

Serena Musick is a former personal trainer, radio disc jockey and news reporter, now a homeschooling mom of four. Endless doctor visits had her feeling discouraged and helpless when a friend introduced her to the therapeutic effects of essential oils. After learning to use them, Musick became empowered and confident to naturally boost her family's overall health and immune systems while eliminating most of the visits to the doctor's office and now happily shares her knowledge with others.
