Damariscotta Region Chamber of Commerce

Education program a great success

Fri, 03/06/2015 - 3:00pm

On Feb. 24, nearly 30 Damariscotta Region Chamber of Commerce members gathered at Lincoln County Healthcare’s Miles Hospital conference room to learn about using social media to enhance their marketing strategies. Christine Henson, marketing and communications officer at Lincoln County Healthcare, led this dynamic program.

Attendees were overwhelmingly enthusiastic about the content of the program and its usefulness to their own business goals.

This was first program of the chamber’s second year of quarterly education programming.

“Our goal is to provide timely and useful education programming to the business community in the Damariscotta Region,” Chamber Board President Marva Nesbit said. “Today’s program certainly met and exceeded that goal — it was an incredible learning experience full of ideas which attendees can implement to expand their marketing impact.”

The chamber gratefully thanks Lincoln County Healthcare for generously sponsoring this program so that it could be offered free of charge to chamber members.

Be sure to watch for upcoming education events provided by the chamber.
