The 2015 Boothbay Harbor Early Bird Sale on Nov. 21 brought out hundreds of morning shoppers, many of whom dressed up in their pajamas, slippers, robes and other sleepwear. Many of the early birds come out for the sales every year, some wearing the same get-ups they wore the year before — and the year before that! Caroline Diamon, from South Portland, was wearing her pajamas and one of the large duck slippers she wore last year. The other foot was in a foot brace, due to an operation.

Michael Maxim was dressed up as Olaf, from the movie, “Frozen,” and was providing entertainment for kids of all ages. ReAnna Heino, who works at Two Salty Dogs, was hopping around in a bunny pajama outfit, and there was a group of four Minnie Mice and a baby Mickey Mouse walking around town.

As always, Early Bird Sale in Boothbay Harbor was a fun, if cold, event, with shoppers just beginning to get in the holiday spirit.
