The Dirigo Cougars defeated the Boothbay Region Seahawks, 50-45, in overtime in Dixfield on Saturday afternoon, Jan. 20.

The loss dropped Boothbay’s record to 4-8 while Dirigo improved to 3-7 with the victory.

Leading scorers for Boothbay were Bella Orr with 16 points and Tatum French with 15.

Emily Woods led Dirigo with 18 points followed by Aleiah Ward led Dirigo with 13 (three 3-pointers)

The Seahawks are next scheduled to host Richmond on Tuesday, Jan. 23 at 6 p.m.
