Dear Editor:

We would like to offer a sincere thank you to the Boothbay Harbor Country Club for donating all its returnable bottles and cans to Rebuilding Together- Lincoln County this year. We made a very nice profit, all of which will be used in our efforts to help keep our neighbors and their families safe and warm in their homes.

For those of your readers who are unfamiliar with Rebuilding Together, it is a non-profit organization that helps qualified homeowners with repairs and maintenance issues they either cannot afford or are unable physically to do on their own. We provide materials and volunteers to help with the work, primarily on Rebuilding Together Day in the spring, but also when there is a situation that needs immediate attention. Our next Rebuilding Together Day in 2017 will be in late April.
