Dear Editor:

Last week was Coaches vs. Cancer Week across the United States. During the week, college and high school coaches wore a shirt, tie and sneakers, and referees officiated with pink whistles to draw attention to the continued fight against cancer. 

At the Boothbay Region - Wiscasset game last week, spectators were asked to donate to the American Cancer Society. Through the generosity of the spectators and the employees at Bath Savings Institution, we raised $642 to send to the American Cancer Society. Thanks to all who participated.
