Since Shakespearean times, actors have believed that saying “Macbeth” onstage before the first performance will curse the show, causing terrible things to happen during the rehearsals and performances. The Theater Project's next production, “Cauldron Bubble,” takes that premise and runs away with it!

In “Cauldron Bubble,” an original comedy by Maine writer Brian Daly, the fateful word IS uttered and the curse is set in motion ... or is it? Is someone trying to sabotage the show? Or is the curse real?

Presented by The Young Company, The Theater Project's high school acting troupe, “Cauldron Bubble” offers a comic look at beliefs, superstitions, “Macbeth,” drama clubs, and peer pressure.

This production runs Oct. 28 - Nov.  6. Performance times are Friday/Saturdays at 7:30 p.m., and Sundays at 2 p.m. All tickets are Pay-What-You-Want, with a suggested price of $12, available online anytime at theaterproject.com or at 207-729-8584.

The Theater Project is located at 14 School Street in Brunswick.
