Surrounded by the sun and old friends, the Boothbay Region High School Class of 2026 started off their senior celebrations! Early on Friday, Oct. 3, seniors gathered at the Southport Town Landing to watch the sunrise. With a hearty breakfast of fresh-baked goods generously donated by the Southport General Store, they huddled together in the cold and enjoyed the morning light. 

What is hopefully a new tradition is an attempt to spread out the celebration of one's final year of high school — a time to remember what has passed and to be excited for what’s to come. It also provided BRHS with an opportunity to further collaborate with Southport Island, the home of several students. The seniors thank the Southport General Store and all who make these celebrations possible!
