Boothbay Region Elementary School cheerleaders performed at Medomak Middle School on Wednesday, Feb. 7 in the Busline League Cheerleading Competition.

Boothbay took second place overall at the competition and  also took home the Spirit Award.  The Spirit Award is voted on by all the other cheerleaders at the competition.  It is quite an honor to receive this award. 

Team members are Ashlynn Andrews, Emma Doucette, Izzy Andreasen, Gigi Blake, Olivia Carlson, Ariyah Green, Georgia Griffith and Maya Jacobs. The Wildcats are coached by Lisa Tilton.

The Boothbay Cheerleaders represented their school with pride and spirit and it was noticed  by all the others cheerleaders.

Each team performed twice and their scores were averaged  to determine the winner. Boothbay scored second in both the first and second round.

The final scores were Oceanside 57.85, Boothbay 40.15, Medomak 35.15 and Great Salt Bay 33.5.
