The Traip Academy Rangers thwarted a valiant comeback effort by the Seahawks as they scored on a 38-yard run early in the fourth quarter and then held on for a 31-26 football victory in Kittery on Saturday, September 27.

Seahawk senior Julian Aponte ran for two touchdowns in the third quarter, including one with just under five minutes to play in the quarter that, with the two-point conversion, gave the Seahawks the lead after trailing 25-14 at the break.

Zach Vise got the Seahawks on the board in the first quarter with a 76-yard run and his first of two touchdowns on the day as the Seahawks' offense picked up some big numbers while the defense struggled to get off the field.

Now 1-2 on the season, the Seahawks return home on Friday, October 3 to host the Maranacook Black Bears who are looking for their first win. Maranacook was beaten by Traip, 19-7, back on September 12.
